Wilful Amateur presents a timely overview of Sian Bonnell’s practice from 1978 to the present. Arranged non-chronologically the book brings together early and later works into new correspondence. Essays by Aliki Braine, Sian Bonnell, Duncan Wooldridge, and a transcript of the artist in conversation with Susan Bright provide further fascinating insights into the work.

To mark the occasion the book is accompanied with a hand printed c-type photograph of Beachclean from the series When the Domestic meets the Wild, 1999. Echoing the theme of time travel this is the first analogue version of Beachclean in over twenty years. The print is in an edition of 50 with 5AP’s and sized at 152 x 205mm with a signed and numbered certificate of authentication.
